Trailblazers in Purple: Women of LTO Region-6 Lead National Women’s Month Celebration
In a powerful show of unity and purpose, the women of the Land Transportation Office in Western Visayas (LTO Region-6) stood tall this March, wearing shades of purple as they joined the nation in celebrating National Women’s Month. The vibrant hue, recognized worldwide as a symbol of women’s rights and empowerment, reflected their shared commitment to justice, compassion, and nation-building.

Anchored on the theme, “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas,” the month-long celebration emphasized the vital role of women in shaping a future rooted in equality and inclusivity. It highlighted their transformative contributions across sectors, particularly in nation-building, where their voices and actions continue to redefine progress.

The initiative was led by LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Attorney Vigor Mendoza, with strong support from Regional Director Attorney Gaudioso P. Geduspan II and Assistant Regional Director Jeck Conlu. Together, they paid tribute to the courage, resilience, and leadership of women, casting a spotlight on their indispensable role in driving societal change.

“This celebration is more than just an event—it is a reaffirmation of our commitment tempower women and recognize their integral role in building a just and equitable society,” said LTO Chief, Assistant Secretary Atty.
